Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Palsee Kashmir website. They are written to be read, not to intimidate. By using the site you agree to them.

About this website

This website is operated by Palsee Kashmir. It introduces our products and story, and points you to where the products can be bought. It is not an online shop, and it does not process orders or payments.

Purchases through Amazon

All purchases are completed on Amazon, a third-party marketplace. When you click a purchase link you leave this website. Checkout, payment, pricing, delivery, returns, refunds and customer service for your order are governed by Amazon's marketplace terms and policies, not by this website.

Any price, availability or delivery information shown on Amazon takes precedence over anything on this site. We do our best to keep this site accurate, but the listing on Amazon is the authoritative source at the time of purchase.

For questions about an order you have placed on Amazon, please contact Amazon customer service in the first instance.

Product information

Product descriptions on this site are provided for general information. The packaging is the definitive source for ingredients, allergens, storage instructions, net quantity and any other regulatory information. Please read the pack before use.

Nothing on this website is intended as medical, nutritional or health advice. Our products are foods and beverages to be enjoyed for their taste and tradition.

Enquiries and bulk orders

Messages sent through the contact form are enquiries, not orders. Any arrangement for a larger order, gifting or retail supply is agreed separately between you and us in writing. We are not obliged to accept an enquiry.

Community products

Some products featured on this site may be made by artisans in the Palsee Kashmir community rather than by Palsee Kashmir. Where that is the case, the artisan is named on the product page. Palsee Kashmir lists and sells the product; the artisan remains responsible for making it and for any licences or labelling its making requires. No artisan product is on sale yet.

On every artisan product it sells, Palsee Kashmir puts half of its own profit into a community fund, paid out once a year when its books are closed, to the artisans signed on to the community. How the fund is held and paid out is being finalised. The details, and the amounts paid, will be published on the Community page.

Content and intellectual property

The text, photographs, illustrations, logos and design of this website belong to Palsee Kashmir or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links to the site. Please do not copy or reuse its content commercially without asking us first.

This site links to Amazon and may link to social media platforms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or policies.

Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep this website available and accurate but cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on information on it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top tells you when they last changed. If you have a question about them, write to us through the contact page.
