Privacy Policy
This notice explains what personal data the Palsee Kashmir website collects, why, on what basis, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We keep it in plain English because what we do with your data is simple.

Who is responsible
Palsee Kashmir, Nigdi, Pune, India, is the data fiduciary for this website: the person who decides why and how your personal data is processed. For anything in this notice, including requests, complaints and consent withdrawals, write to hello@palseekashmir.com.
What we collect and why
The contact form is the only place this site asks for personal data. When you send it, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, the type of enquiry, the product you are interested in, and your message. We also record the date and time and the page you wrote from, so we can reply with the right context. We use these details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and to follow it up with you.
To keep the form free of automated abuse, the site checks each submission with Cloudflare Turnstile and briefly counts submissions per network address. That address is held in memory for a few minutes and is not stored or linked to your enquiry.
If you only browse the site, we do not ask you for any personal data.
Consent
We process the details from the contact form on the basis of your consent. You give it by ticking the consent box on the form, which is never ticked in advance, after reading a short notice of what we collect and why. The notice is in English; if you would like it in another language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, write to us and we will provide it.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to hello@palseekashmir.com. Once you do, we stop using your details and delete them, unless a law requires us to keep them. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your details before you withdrew it.
Your rights
You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and what we have done with it, to have it corrected, completed or updated, to have it erased, and to nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to. You also have the right to have a grievance about our handling of your data heard and answered.
To use any of these rights, write to hello@palseekashmir.com from the email address you used on the form, or tell us which enquiry you mean. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, the authority set up under the Act. We would ask you to raise it with us first, so we have the chance to put it right.
Who else handles your data
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone for their own use. A small number of service providers process it on our behalf and on our instructions: an email delivery service carries contact form messages to our inbox, Cloudflare checks that a submission comes from a person, and our hosting provider runs the website. Each processes your data only to provide its service to us.
Some of these providers operate servers outside India. The Act permits this except to countries the Central Government restricts, and we will not transfer your data to any such country.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and delete them once it is closed, within twelve months of our last exchange at most. We keep nothing longer unless a law requires it. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner at any time.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections to this website and to the services that carry your messages, and access limited to the people who answer enquiries. If a breach of personal data ever affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the Act requires.
Purchases on Amazon
We do not sell directly on this website. When you click a purchase link, you leave our site and continue on Amazon. Any personal data you provide there, including payment and delivery details, is handled by Amazon under its own privacy notice and marketplace policies. Please read them before completing a purchase. Our terms say more about this.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses only the technical cookies or storage needed for it to work, including a cookie Cloudflare may set to run the human check on the contact form. These are strictly necessary and are not used to track you.
We do not run analytics or advertising cookies at present. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent before setting any such cookie and update this notice.
Changes to this notice
If we change the way we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top, and where the change matters to you we will tell you before it takes effect. This notice describes our practices under Indian law. It does not replace the policies of third-party services such as Amazon.
